Every Sunday morning from 9:45 to 10:15 a. m.

SOM Chat Group meeting both Live and on-line

Science of Mind philosophy and principles

The suggestion came up at our Congregational Meeting to have a sort of "Sunday School" discussion on Sundays. The decision was to hold it before service in place of meditation, which has not been drawing much participation.

The informal weekly Sunday morning discussion group will focus on various SOM topics meets in the Center and on Zoom. Each week we will review a spiritual principle and/or practice and how it applies to our daily life. Then we’ll take it home, use it for a week, then come back and share our experiences.

It's California and we love

our HVAC Systems!

As we have all probably noticed, one of our HVAC systems isn't performing and needs to be replaced. We need to raise $9,000 to help cover the cost of a new system.

We will be holding a Pop-Up Sunday "Home Cooking" venue in our Center. We need some people to bring something to eat to the Center to sell and generate funds dedicated to the purchase a new HVAC. There is a signup sheet at the Center if you would like to be a provider of something scrumptious to help raise funds for this purchase.

We sincerely appreciate any help anyone can give us to help keep our Center cool in summer and warm in winter.

Our Peace Crane Project

is Complete!

Cranes have a long history in Japan, China and Korea to represent good fortune and longevity. It was believed that if one folded 1,000 origami cranes, a wish you make would come true.

Crane projects have become symbols of peace and to memorialize those who have died from Covid or other tragic circumstances. The CSL Home Office recently created an origami Peace Crane Sculpture using pages of the Centers for Spiritual Living 2020 Spiritual Journal.

CSL Visalia’s Fun-Raising Crane Project is Complete!!! We now have ,001 cranes hanging in our Center. Our project has raised over $700 for which we are eternally grateful. We have enjoyed having so many people participate in the project, contributing hand-made cranes, time, paper and money. We give thanks to all who participated and all those who have been able to see and enjoy the cranes .

We hope the messages written on the wings of our cranes will fly around the world and bring blessings, peace and love to all.
